Malawian children living with HIV are not receiving the same level of care as adults, with only half of them being virally suppressed. Despite efforts by the government to control the epidemic, many young people continue to face barriers in accessing essential services. Researchers aim to identify and develop strategies to improve access to HIV treatment for children in Malawi, building on existing models that have shown promise in other parts of Africa.
