A new study aims to understand how young people can effectively counter the negative impacts of the fossil fuel industry on their health, which disproportionately affects communities already disadvantaged by structural issues. The research will explore existing interventions involving adolescents and examine how they work, with a focus on identifying effective strategies that address these disparities. By analyzing various sources of evidence, including published research and grey literature, the study hopes to provide insights into how young people can participate in health and climate decision-making, ultimately reducing health inequities driven by the fossil fuel industry's practices and products.
