A new study has shed light on the challenges faced by India's tribal populations when it comes to accessing reproductive and adolescent healthcare. Despite government initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes, many tribal women are still struggling with high maternal mortality rates, poor nutrition, and limited access to quality care. The research found that a range of factors, including lack of infrastructure, inadequate training for healthcare workers, and cultural reliance on traditional medicine, are contributing to these disparities. However, the study also identified some key enablers, such as strong community leadership and collaboration with NGOs, which can help overcome these challenges.
