China's CDCs Face Development Disadvantages
Researchers in China have found that grassroots centers for disease control and prevention need better collaboration to effectively prevent and control diseases. A study in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle identified the top needs for these centers, including performance compensation, talent exchange, and public health emergency response systems. The study used a new method to analyze the needs and found that the most important factors for these centers were performance compensation, talent exchange, and joint risk assessment and emergency command. The researchers hope that their findings will help improve public health systems in China and other countries.
